FILM SYNOPSIS

Wed at the age of sixteen to the much-older Duke of Devonshire, young Georgiana Spencer finds herself trapped in a loveless marriage to a cold and unfaithful husband. Immersing herself in the extravagant world of the eighteenth-century English aristocracy, Georgiana becomes the toast of society, celebrated for her beauty and style, even as her conflicts with her husband escalate.
